2026 MMF Fellow 

Lili is a passionate violinist undertaking her third year at ANAM, under the tutelage of Adam Chalabi.

Beginning her musical journey at the age of four, Lili’s love and enthusiasm for music has continued to flourish. In 2018, Lili was a recitalist in the National Youth Concerto Competition and in 2022, became a member of the Amogus Trio which won first prize in the Musica Viva Strike a Chord Prize.

She began her tertiary studies at the University of Queensland (UQ) in 2021 studying a Bachelor of Music where she received the Kinnane Music Scholarship and has been learning with Adam Chalabi since the commencement of her degree. Throughout her three years of study at UQ she was awarded the Pollett String prize in 2022 and 2023, the Sleath String prize in 2023 as well as a Dean’s Commendation of Academic Excellence for 2023.

Lili has been an AYO participant for several years, playing in the Seasons, Momentum, Professional Immersion (with SSO) and International tour programs. While at ANAM, she has had the privilege to work alongside the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO) and Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra (APO) as well as the Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO). In her first year Lili was a semi-finalist of the ANAM concerto competition and last year she was extremely fortunate to have been nominated to play for James Ehnes in a masterclass graciously hosted by the MSO.
